Llewyn is SIX months!

My little Llewyn is half a year today! Although I feel like I’ve known him, in my heart, my whole life, it still seems like just yesterday he was born. He is the sweetest little guy. He is always so relaxed, and just likes to take everything in around him. He quietly watches his sister play, and occasionally gets a hold of one of her toys and covers it with drool. No teeth yet, but they should be poking through any day now. He can roll over, is starting to crawl as of yesterday, and is getting better at sitting up unassisted. Llewyn loves Lucy kisses, but don’t we all?! Just started becoming interested in foods, but still loves to nurse. Rosalie makes his world go round, he’s got lots of LOVE for that girl. He’s definitely a momma’s boy, but when papa get home from work, he gets so excited and starts screaming (like his sister!) Oh, sweet little boy, I’m so happy you are ours! We LOVE YOU!

Llewyn just confirms for me, that God’s plan is perfect, and even though we have hard times and may not always understand the things that happen, he is in control and loves us. So grateful that he blessed me with these two sweet children!

Here are a few photos a snapped this morning!

Happy New Year!

2016-01-01

Hi!

Happy New Year, everyone!

I hope your New Year is off to a great start! As many of you know, we have been sick since New Year day (it’s been awful!) First Rosalie caught a cold, that turned into an ear infection/sinus infection (we’ve never experienced an ear infection so this was all new for us) and then Llewyn and I caught the cold over the weekend, and it turned into much more than a cold for Llewyn. Poor guy, but he is starting to feel better, especially after NINE hours of straight sleep last night. (I’m feeling pretty amazing myself after that) Thank you, all, for the prayers and love!

I’m not going to let a little sickness drag my New Year state of mind down. I’m grateful for another year and excited for everything it holds for us. Like everyone, I have a few New Year goals.

First- I need to work on my personal relationship with the Lord and be in the word more. This is a must for 2016! I also want to be a better mother to my children, and opening my bible and improving my relationship with the Lord, is the first step to becoming a better mother in my opinion. I also want to work on letting the little things go, and being able to just live in them moments with my children. So often, I get caught up in getting things done, like house work, school work, that I forget to just sit down and play dolls with Rosalie..Annie, you have time for this..DO IT!

Okay, Second, be a better mother oh, and wife!! I want to be the best wife I can be, because my husband deserves it!

and Third- I want to work on my health.

My body has changed so much after having two children, and it’s not as easy as it use to be to stay healthy. I need more exercise in my life (I’ve started a new work out guide that I LOVE and I’ll share it in another post, because its already working). I need to remember to take my vitamins EVERYDAY and take better care of my hair and skin. DRINK MORE WATER. These things are important, because if I want to be the best mother and wife I can be, I have to start by taking better care of myself, so that I can take better care of my loves. Of course, I would love to eat less sweets, not drink a soda every once in a while, and not enjoy McDonalds fries as much as I do, but really those things are far less important, than the bigger picture!

So, I need all the love, hugs and support I can get the next few weeks, because starting the 15th, Rosalie will be attending Ridgeview Christian Academy, and as excited as I am for her, I’m having a hard time excepting the fact that she’s old enough for this! Eventually, I plan on homeschooling, but until I finish my degree, we thought this would be a great opportunity! It’s only two days a week, and she’s so excited about it, which makes me feel better! Don’t hesitate to call me the week of the 15th though, you know, just to make sure I don’t need more tissues, or haven’t drown in my own tears and that I’m actually using that time to work on school work!!  I can’t even imagine when she goes off to college one day!

If that news wasn’t exciting and emotional enough, we are also going to DISNEY WORLD ( picture me saying that like Buddy the elf yelling SANTA)!!! I cannot hold back the excitement, and yes, this trip was actually a present for Rosalie for Christmas, but it was a well played out present on my part, because I’m probably more excited than she is. We’re going the end of February, so pretty soon, and there’s a lot of planning left to do before we go. I’d love any advice from those of you who have been with little ones before! Some people probably think we are nuts for taking two babies three and under (they won’t remember it)….. but I know they will love it…. and tea with Cinderella, what 26 yea…. <<cough cough>>>.. I mean 3 year old wouldn’t love that!!!!

Mother duties are calling, I’ll be back though, very soon!
